This form asks you to record the depth below sea level (bsl) of any spiny lobsters Palinurus elephas which you may encounter on your dives at Lundy. Ideally, take a photo* of any spiny lobsters you see (even if it’s just of their antennae poking out of a rock crevice). Make sure you also record the GPS position of your dive (from the dive boat) and the mid-time of your dive, so that you can subtract the predicted tide height at that time to give your depth below chart datum (bcd).
